Over the course of one day, you will receive the most comprehensive medical checkup possible. We are dedicated to helping you celebrate a long lasting quality of life.
On the day of your health exam, you will be given a private suite with luxurious furnishings, flat screen TV, high speed internet access and private examination area. Your suite also boasts personal office space and a private bathroom. We have various health programs to suit your needs.
A day at the Williamsburg Health Evaluation Center will include: |
- Compiling a medical history for use during a comprehensive physical exam which will give you nearly two hours of undivided attention from your assigned physician. In that time frame, your physician will also be evaluating your stress risk to ensure your mental health is as good as your physical health.
- Comprehensive laboratory studies to include, but not limited to, full lipid panel, complete blood count, sugar levels and additionally, PSA Screening for prostate cancer and the CA-125 test for ovarian cancer.
- Ultrasound studies will be done to evaluate the health of your major arteries and gain a picture of the condition of your abdominal organs.
- You may receive a full or partial-body CAT Scan that can identify numerous conditions, but especially detect cancers and tumors in their earliest stages for the highest possible survival outcome.
- A non-invasive Virtual Colonoscopy will be done to identify any polyps or tumors that may be present.
- Electrocardiograms, Stress Electrocardiograms and Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring tests will allow a complete and clear picture of the health of your heart and related arteries. Heart disease is a leading killer of both men and women and is usually asymptomatic. Early intervention in heart disease can extend your life for many years.
- Other tests will also be conducted such as Bone Density for osteoporosis risk levels, Mammogram to detect breast cancer and Body Composition Analysis to evaluate your risk for obesity and related disorders.
- By the end of the day, you will have complete results from your health exams. Shortly thereafter, we will mail you a full report with detailed results to share with your primary physician.
